  • Music Rocks! Germany

The Music rocks! choir is a mixed concert choir which was founded three years ago and is conducted by Doris Vetter. It is performing in various formations starting with a small number of soloists accompanied by Doris Vetter on the piano leading up to gala concerts with over one hundred singers, a full symphonic orchestra, a rock band and international musical stars as soloists. Music rocks! has already performed at concert halls like the Laeiszhalle of Hamburg and been invited to a great variety of music festivals. The choir aims at uniting people through the music by singing in various languages. The choir in the big formation unites musicians from over 15 countries.The choir is one of distinguished choirs in the northern Germany, well-received by the public and has media coverage on NDR, one of the influential presses in Germany. The choir is presenting a broad mixture of hits from the musical, pop, film and rock genres also including choreographic elements to transport the energy and joy for music from the stage to the audience.

Doris Vetter, founder and conductor of the Music Rocks!, is a conductor, pianist, choir leader and opera singer who studied at the universities of Karlsruhe, Wien, Hamburg and Rio de Janeiro, has fulfilled a lectureship for correpetition at the universities of Hamburg and Berlin and assisted in music theatre productions. She was the music director and conductor for the Kössliner Philharmonics to perform Beethovenʼ s Symphony No.9 and Schubert's Unfinished and pop oratories The Ten Commandments and Luther, with 800-1.500 choir singer.; one of the music directorsat the annual 24-hour musicals in Ahrensburg; in 2015 and 2016 conductor for the British program Young Voices with up to 6.000 children in the Barclaycard Arena Hamburg. 


  • Coro Tomasino of USTCM, the Philippines

Coro Tomasino was founded in 1987 by Prof. Ricardo Mazo Jr under the auspices of the late USTCM. The group was hailed as "Superchoir" by the local television and radio stations. The group has received the Pope Leo XIII Award in 1991 for outstanding musical achievement and the Sto. Domingo Award for Music 2011 (Outstanding Thomasian Scholar Awards) given by the Becarios de Santo Tomas. The group has received numerous awards from their participation in various competitions and festivals in the Philippines, Indonesia, South Korea and Japan, such as Silver Awards in Folk, Sacred and mixed Categorie at Cultural Center of The Philippines Choral Competition in 2009; Gold Medal in Folk and Free Program and Silver Medal in Historical Categories at Institut Teknika Bandung International Choral Competition in 2010; 1st runner-up prize at the Musica FEUropa Choral Competition sponsored by the European Union in 2013; 3rd prize in the Pop/Jazz Category at the 1st Yeosu International Choral Competition in 2013.

Ferrer is a 1998 graduate of the UST Conservatory of Music, and 2002 post-graduate of the Elisabeth University of Music major in Voice in Hiroshima, Japan. He is the appointed Coordinator of the Vocal Performance Department of the UST Conservatory of Music from 2010 to present and the music director and conductor of the Coro Tomasino. He is a founding member of the Philippine National Association of Teachers of Singing and a delegate to the International Conference of Voice Teacher and the current Secretary of the National Committee on Music of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. Previously, he was also appointed as Chairman of the National Music Competitions for Young Artist Vocal Competition Category C 2014.

Choir Detstvo is the exemplary honored team of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science. In 2005, the choir acquired the title of "Exemplary children group" of Russian Federation Education and Culture Ministry. Tatiana Bederina, the Honored worker of Culture of Russia, is the artistic director and conductor. The choir "Detstvo" is the active participant of many international projects and championships. Thanks to high skills and professionalism, the choir has a well-deserved reputation both in Russia and abroad. The choir has experience of cooperation with famous Russian singers, composers and musicians and was highly appreciated by the Honored Artist of Russia, the famous singer Sergei Zakharov. Choir "Detstvo" is the winner of international competitions in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Austria, Great Britain; champion of the IX World Choir Games in Sochi; among the top ten choirs in the world of the world rating INTERKULTUR; winner of the gold medals of the World Choir Games in Sochi, Austria, Latvia, China; the owner of the GRAND PRIX Prize of the International Music Contest "We Are for Peace" in Moscow.

Tatiana Bederina has the honorary title "Honored worker of culture of the Russian Federation", the honorary title of laureate of the prize of Governor of the Amur region in the field of literature and art, the honorary badge of Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation for achievements in culture. She was award "Director of the year” in 2014 and 2015 and “Effective leader” in 2016, and becomes chairman of the regional branch of the all-Russian choral society in 2017.Tatiana is the founder and artistic Director of exemplary art collective of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation "Detstvo” , which is ranked one of the best choirs by INTERKULTUR.
